How to Download a Pinterest Video or Video Pin

Pinterest doesn't give you a native "Download" button on video Pins, which makes saving one to your phone or computer less obvious than on most other platforms. Here's the simplest way to do it.

Step 1: Find the Pin's link

Open the video Pin you want to save, either in the Pinterest app or on pinterest.com. Tap the Share icon (usually an arrow or three dots) and choose Copy Link.

Step 2: Paste it into AllVideoDL

Go to the AllVideoDL Pinterest downloader and paste the Pin link into the input box.

Step 3: Download

Click Start, wait a couple of seconds while the link is processed, then click Download Video to save the file to your device.

What if the Pin is just an image?

AllVideoDL is built specifically for video Pins. If a Pin only contains a static image, the simplest option is to long-press (mobile) or right-click (desktop) the image directly in your browser and choose Save Image.

A few things to keep in mind

• Only Pins that are publicly visible can be downloaded - Pins on private or secret boards require a login and can't be processed.
• The downloaded file is a standard MP4 that plays on any device.
• Only save and reuse Pins you have permission to use, especially for anything beyond personal viewing.
